This bold and aromatic Thai dish features stir-fried meat with fresh basil, chilies, and savory sauce—served hot with steamed rice for a quick and flavorful meal.

🧂 Ingredients

  • 300g ground pork or chicken
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2–3 red chilies, sliced (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Steamed rice, for serving

  1. Sauté aromatics: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic, onion, and chilies. Stir-fry until fragrant.
  2. Add meat: Add ground pork or chicken. Cook until browned and fully cooked.
