🥩 Crispy Air Fryer Beef Jerky
✨ Introduction
Making beef jerky at home has never been easier! With an air fryer, you can create perfectly dehydrated, flavorful jerky in just a few hours—no special equipment required.
🧂 Ingredients
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef steak (sirloin or round)
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional, adjust for spice)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Mix marinade: Combine Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, honey, onion powder, and chili flakes in a bowl.
- Prep beef: Slice beef into strips or squares. Add to marinade, ensuring all pieces are coated.
- Marinate: Cover and refrigerate overnight or at least 3 hours.
- Dry beef: Remove from marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
- Arrange: Place beef strips in air fryer basket in a single layer, without overlapping.
- Air fry: Set air fryer to 210°F (100°C) for 2 hours. Check jerky; if not fully dried, continue in 15–20 minute intervals until done. Internal temp should reach 160°F (71°C).
- Cool & store: Let jerky cool completely, then store in an airtight container.
💡 Tips
- Flavor boost: Add smoked paprika or garlic powder to the marinade.
- Texture: Slice beef against the grain for tender jerky, or with the grain for chewier jerky.
- Storage: Keep in a sealed jar for up to 2 weeks, or refrigerate for longer freshness.
