Spicy jalapeños stuffed with cheesy meat filling, wrapped in bacon, and baked to perfection!

Ingredients

  • 10 large jalapeño peppers
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 10 slices of bacon
  • Barbecue sauce (for drizzling)
  • Fresh parsley or chives (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare jalapeños: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise, remove seeds and membranes.
  2. Make filling: Mix cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Cook ground beef/turkey until browned, drain fat, cool slightly, then stir into cheese mixture.
  3. Stuff jalapeños: Fill each jalapeño half with meat-cheese mixture using spoon or piping bag.
  4. Wrap with bacon: Cut bacon slices in half. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with bacon, secure with toothpick if needed.
  5. Bake: Place on parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake 20–25 minutes until bacon is crispy and cheese bubbly.
  6. Serve: Cool slightly, drizzle with barbecue sauce, garnish with parsley or chives, and enjoy!
