Ingredients

- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
Make the Soup
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, carrots, celery, and garlic. Cook until softened (5â6 minutes).
- Sprinkle flour over vegetables and stir for 1 minute.
- Gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer.
- Add shredded chicken and cream. Season with salt and pepper.
Make the Dumplings
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough into simmering soup. Cover and cook for 15 minutes without lifting the lid.
Finish and Serve
- Check dumplingsâthey should be fluffy and cooked through.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
