🍗 Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken & Rice 🍚

Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced into strips
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
For the Garlic Parmesan Rice
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Directions
- Coat Chicken: Mix flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Dredge chicken strips in mixture.
- Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil and 2 tbsp butter in skillet. Cook chicken 6–8 minutes per side until golden. Set aside.
- Make Sauce: Melt remaining butter in skillet. Sauté garlic 30 seconds. Add broth and lemon juice. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Finish Chicken: Stir in Parmesan and red pepper flakes. Return chicken to skillet and coat in sauce. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Cook Rice: In saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic. Add rice and stir 1 minute. Add broth, salt, and pepper. Simmer covered 15–18 minutes until tender.
- Finish Rice: Stir in Parmesan until creamy.
- Serve: Plate rice, top with chicken, drizzle sauce, and garnish with parsley.
