Ingredients
- 700g fresh salmon fillet
- 500g fresh spinach
- 600g potatoes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated cheese (Gruyère or Emmental)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped chives (for garnish)
- Butter (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat: Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Prep Potatoes: Peel and slice potatoes thinly. Boil until just tender, then drain.
- Sauté Spinach: In a pan, sauté onion and garlic. Add spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and pepper.
- Layer: Arrange half the potatoes in the dish. Add spinach mixture, then top with salmon pieces. Finish with remaining potatoes.
- Cream & Cheese: Pour cream evenly over the dish. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
- Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbling.
- Garnish: Sprinkle with chopped chives before serving.
