Ingredients
- 1 cup (250g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup (120ml) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup (100g) sugar
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (80g) chocolate chips or chunks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Cream: Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in condensed milk and vanilla.
- Dry Mix: Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold into wet mixture to form soft dough.
- Add Chocolate: Stir in chocolate chips or chunks evenly.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate dough for 20–30 minutes.
- Preheat: Set oven to 170°C (340°F). Line baking tray with parchment paper.
- Shape: Scoop small balls of dough, flatten slightly, and place spaced on tray.
- Bake: Bake 12–15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool: Let cookies cool on tray before transferring to rack.
