Soft, chewy peanut butter bites loaded with chocolate chips and Reese’s chunks—perfect for snacking!
Ingredients
Dough Base
- 115 g unsalted butter, softened
- 130 g creamy peanut butter
- 100 g light brown sugar
- 50 g granulated sugar
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 5 ml (1 tsp) pure vanilla extract
- 125 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour
- 3 g (½ tsp) baking soda
- 1.5 g (¼ tsp) fine sea salt
Mix-ins
- 90 g (½ cup) mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 55 g (¼ cup) chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (frozen before chopping)
Optional Garnish
- Extra mini chocolate chips
- Extra Reese’s bits
Instructions
- Prep & Preheat: Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream Wet Base: Beat butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (2–3 min).
- Add Egg & Vanilla: Beat in egg and vanilla until smooth (1 min).
- Add Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix into wet base on low speed until just combined.
- Fold in Mix-ins: Gently fold in chocolate chips and chopped Reese’s.
- Portion & Bake: Scoop 1-inch balls (~15 g each). Place 2 inches apart. Bake 10–12 min until edges golden and centers soft.
- Finish & Cool: Press extra chips/Reese’s bits on top immediately after baking. Cool 5 min on sheet, then transfer to wire rack.
