  • ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup Italian dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Tortellini: Boil tortellini according to package instructions. Drain, rinse with cold water, and cool completely.
  2. Prep Ingredients: Chop cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, salami, olives, and red onion.
  3. Combine: In a large bowl, mix tortellini, tomatoes, mozzarella, salami, olives, onion, and basil.
  4. Dress: Pour Italian dressing over salad. Toss gently to coat. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle Parmesan on top. Toss once more. Serve immediately or refrigerate 1–2 hours to meld flavors.
