- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic (about 3 cloves)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 lb (500 g) gnocchi
- 2 cups chopped spinach
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook Sausage: In an oven-safe skillet, cook sausage and onion over medium-high heat until browned.
- Add Flavor: Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook 1 minute.
- Thicken Sauce: Sprinkle flour, stir until absorbed. Add broth and cream, simmer until thickened.
