Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 12 slider buns or dinner rolls
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, cut in half
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise (optional)
  • ¼ cup ketchup (optional)
  • Dill pickle slices (optional)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain grease. Stir in salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Assemble sliders: Slice buns in half (keep bottoms connected if possible). Place bottoms in a baking dish. Spread beef mixture evenly, then top with cheddar slices.
  4. Finish assembly: Add bun tops. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle sesame seeds if using.
  5. Bake: Bake 10–12 minutes until cheese melts and buns are golden.
  6. Serve: Enjoy warm with ketchup, mayo, or pickles inside or on the side.
