Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 count)
- 4 breakfast sausage links, cooked and halved lengthwise
- 4 large eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: chopped chives or parsley for garnish
Directions
- Preheat oven: Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scramble eggs: In a bowl, whisk eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Cook in a skillet over medium heat until just set and fluffy. Remove from heat.
- Assemble roll-ups: Unroll crescent dough. Place half a sausage link, a spoonful of scrambled eggs, and a sprinkle of cheddar on each triangle.
- Roll and bake: Roll up tightly, starting from the wide end. Place on baking sheet. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Garnish with chives or parsley if desired. Enjoy warm.
Tips
- Extra cheesy: Add a slice of American cheese for gooey texture.
- Make-ahead: Prep roll-ups the night before and refrigerate; bake fresh in the morning.
- Flavor twist: Swap sausage for bacon or ham.
