Ingredients:
- 3½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
- Add melted butter, egg, salt, and flour. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Divide dough into equal pieces and shape into balls. Place in a greased baking dish.
- Cover and let rise again for 30–40 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter while warm. Serve soft and fluffy!
