Ingredients:

  • 200g (7 oz) spaghetti
  • 300g (10 oz) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese blend)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and mix well.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Cover and let the cheese melt.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.
