Ingredients:
- 200g (7 oz) spaghetti
- 300g (10 oz) ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (fresh or canned)
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese blend)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce and mix well.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Cover and let the cheese melt.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.
