Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Sesame seeds or coarse salt for topping (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add yogurt and mix until a dough forms.
- Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for a few minutes until smooth.
- Divide dough into 6 portions and roll each into a ball.
- Press a hole in the center of each dough ball to shape into bagels.
- Place on the baking sheet. Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle toppings if desired.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
