Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups (310 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • ¾ cup (180 ml) warm milk
  • 2 tbsp softened butter
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries or raisins
  • Natural pink coloring (e.g., beet juice or food dye)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add warm milk and butter. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough in half. Add pink coloring and cranberries to one half and knead until fully incorporated.
  5. Roll each half into a rectangle. Layer the pink dough over the plain dough and roll tightly into a swirl.
  6. Place into a greased loaf pan, cover, and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
  7. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool before slicing. Enjoy!
