Ingredients:
- 1 small green papaya, peeled and grated
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup cooked chicken or canned tuna
- Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)
- Spring roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan. Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add grated papaya, tuna/chicken, herbs, and chili powder. Cook until soft and fragrant. Let cool.
- Place a spoonful of filling on a spring roll wrapper. Roll tightly and seal edges with a bit of water.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry rolls until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with sweet chili sauce or your favorite dip.
