Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups milk, divided
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4–5 medium russet potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat: Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Form Patties: Mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Shape into 6 patties.
- Brown Patties: In a skillet, sear patties on both sides (do not fully cook). Set aside.
- Make Gravy: In the same skillet, whisk 1 cup milk with flour until smooth. Slowly add remaining 1 cup milk, whisking until thickened. Season to taste.
