Ingredients

Produce

  • 2 large ripe avocados, cut into 1 cm slices
  • 3 cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro (coriander) leaves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

Condiments

  • 3 tbsp fresh lime juice (about 1–2 limes)

Baking & Spices

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes (or red pepper flakes)
  • 3/4 tsp cooking or kosher salt

Oils & Vinegars

  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Vegetables: Slice avocados into quarters, remove pit, and cut into 1 cm slices. Thinly slice cucumbers and red onion.
  2. Make the Dressing: Whisk lime juice, olive oil, black pepper, chili flakes, and salt in a small bowl.
  3. Assemble the Salad: Gently combine avocados, cucumbers, onion, cilantro, and dill in a large bowl. Keep avocado slices intact.
  4. Toss and Serve: Drizzle dressing over salad and toss gently. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve immediately.

Optional Additions

  • Add cherry tomatoes for color and sweetness.
  • Top with grilled chicken, shrimp, or chickpeas for extra protein.
