Avocado Salad 🥑🥑🥑
Ingredients
Produce
- 2 large ripe avocados, cut into 1 cm slices
- 3 cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro (coriander) leaves, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Condiments
- 3 tbsp fresh lime juice (about 1–2 limes)
Baking & Spices
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes (or red pepper flakes)
- 3/4 tsp cooking or kosher salt
Oils & Vinegars
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Prepare the Vegetables: Slice avocados into quarters, remove pit, and cut into 1 cm slices. Thinly slice cucumbers and red onion.
- Make the Dressing: Whisk lime juice, olive oil, black pepper, chili flakes, and salt in a small bowl.
- Assemble the Salad: Gently combine avocados, cucumbers, onion, cilantro, and dill in a large bowl. Keep avocado slices intact.
- Toss and Serve: Drizzle dressing over salad and toss gently. Adjust seasoning if needed. Serve immediately.
Optional Additions
- Add cherry tomatoes for color and sweetness.
- Top with grilled chicken, shrimp, or chickpeas for extra protein.
