Mini phyllo cups filled with caramel, spiced apples, and whipped cream—bite-sized autumn indulgence!

Ingredients

  • 2 medium crisp apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled & finely diced
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp light brown sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 package (15 count) frozen pre-baked mini fillo shells
  • ½ cup thick caramel sauce or dulce de leche
  • ½ cup sweetened whipped cream or topping
  • 1 tbsp toasted chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook Apples: Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook 5–7 min until tender and sauce thickens. Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice. Cool 10 min.
  2. Assemble Cups: Arrange phyllo shells on platter. Spoon ½ tsp caramel into each. Top with cooled apple mixture.
  3. Add Toppings: Dollop whipped cream on each. Drizzle caramel and sprinkle pecans if desired.
  4. Serve: Best enjoyed immediately to keep shells crisp.
