This recipe combines the best of Italian traditionβhomemade dough and two irresistible pizza toppings: tomato & mozzarella, and mushroom & ham. Perfect for family dinners or weekend feasts!
π§ Ingredients
For the dough
- 425 g warm water
- 400 g flour 0
- 100 g hard wheat grinder
- 20 g extra-virgin olive oil
- 12 g fresh baker’s yeast
- 8 g salt (add after kneading)
For tomato & mozzarella pizza
- 500 g peeled tomatoes (drained & crushed)
- 200 g mozzarella (torn & drained)
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Oregano, to taste
- A pinch of sugar
- Extra-virgin olive oil (optional)
- Salt & pepper (optional)
For mushroom & ham pizza
- 350 g mushrooms, cleaned & sliced
- 200 g mozzarella
- 100 g raw ham, torn
- 1 small bouquet thyme
- 1/2 glass white wine
- Extra-virgin olive oil (optional)
- Salt & pepper (optional)

1. Preparing the dough
- Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water in a large bowl.
- Add flour and semolina gradually, mixing with a wooden spatula.
- Add olive oil and mix until homogeneous.
- Add salt and knead for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 2 hours until doubled.
2. Shaping the dough
- Divide dough into 4β6 balls.
- Place on a floured plate, cover with a cloth, and rest for 30 minutes.
3. Preparing the fillings
Tomato & mozzarella pizza
- Mix tomatoes with garlic, oregano, sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Spread sauce on dough, leaving a rim for crust.
- Bake at 220Β°C for 10 minutes.
- Add mozzarella and drizzle olive oil.
- Bake 5 more minutes until cheese melts.
Mushroom & ham pizza
- Heat olive oil in a pan. Add mushrooms, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook 5 minutes.
- Add white wine and simmer until evaporated.
- Spread mushrooms on dough, add mozzarella, and bake at 220Β°C for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and add raw ham before serving.
