Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter (sweet), softened
- 2 egg yolks
- 3/6 cup sugar (about 1/2 cup)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- Optional: melted chocolate and sprinkles/nuggets
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix flour and salt in a bowl; set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg yolks and vanilla; mix well.
- Gradually add flour mixture until just combined. If dough is too dry, add milk 1 tbsp at a time.
- Pipe or shape dough into 1 1/2-inch swirls or rounds on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool completely. Dip in melted chocolate and decorate with sprinkles if desired.
