Ingredients You’ll Need
For the bread

- 2 eggs

- 1½ cups all-purpose flour

- ½ cup milk

For the glaze (optional)
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk or cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Prepare swirl: Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Make batter: Cream butter and white sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder, and milk until smooth.
- Layer: Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Add half the apples and half the cinnamon-sugar swirl. Repeat with remaining batter, apples, and swirl. Lightly swirl with a knife.
- Bake: Bake 50–60 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Glaze (optional): Whisk powdered sugar with milk/cream until smooth. Drizzle over cooled bread.
- Serve: Slice and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
