Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1½ cups Bisquick (or any baking mix)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup finely chopped green onions or parsley (optional)
  • ½ cup diced bell peppers (optional, for color & flavor)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sausage Mixture: In a large bowl, mix sausage and softened cream cheese until smooth. Add cheddar cheese and combine.
  2. Add Dry Ingredients: Sprinkle in Bisquick, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and pepper. Fold in green onions or bell peppers if using. Mix until thick dough forms.
  3. Form Balls: Shape into 1–1.5 inch balls. Place on greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake 22–25 min until golden brown, crispy outside, and cheesy inside.
