🥩 Crispy Air Fryer Beef Jerky

✨ Introduction

Making beef jerky at home has never been easier! With an air fryer, you can create perfectly dehydrated, flavorful jerky in just a few hours—no special equipment required.

🧂 Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef steak (sirloin or round)
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional, adjust for spice)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Mix marinade: Combine Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, honey, onion powder, and chili flakes in a bowl.
  2. Prep beef: Slice beef into strips or squares. Add to marinade, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  3. Marinate: Cover and refrigerate overnight or at least 3 hours.
  4. Dry beef: Remove from marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
  5. Arrange: Place beef strips in air fryer basket in a single layer, without overlapping.
  6. Air fry: Set air fryer to 210°F (100°C) for 2 hours. Check jerky; if not fully dried, continue in 15–20 minute intervals until done. Internal temp should reach 160°F (71°C).
  7. Cool & store: Let jerky cool completely, then store in an airtight container.

💡 Tips

  • Flavor boost: Add smoked paprika or garlic powder to the marinade.
  • Texture: Slice beef against the grain for tender jerky, or with the grain for chewier jerky.
  • Storage: Keep in a sealed jar for up to 2 weeks, or refrigerate for longer freshness.
