Ingredients:

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and grated
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Grate the potatoes and place them in a clean towel. Squeeze out the excess moisture.
  2. Transfer the grated potatoes to a bowl. Add the egg, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Spoon the potato mixture into the pan, flattening slightly with the back of a spoon to form pancakes.
  5. Fry until golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or sour cream.
