π² Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna π§π
A comforting, cheesy lasagna made easy with frozen ravioli and slow-cooked to perfection!
Ingredients
- 1 (25 oz) package frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
- 1/2 pound ground beef or sausage (optional)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or sausage with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5β10 minutes.
- Spread a small amount of the sauce mixture on the bottom of the crockpot.
- Layer frozen ravioli over the sauce, then add ricotta and mozzarella.
- Repeat layers: sauce, ravioli, ricotta, mozzarella. Finish with sauce and Parmesan on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4β5 hours or on high for 2β3 hours, until ravioli is tender and cheese melted.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Serve warm.
