A comforting, cheesy lasagna made easy with frozen ravioli and slow-cooked to perfection!

Ingredients

  • 1 (25 oz) package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1/2 pound ground beef or sausage (optional)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or sausage with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in marinara sauce, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5–10 minutes.
  3. Spread a small amount of the sauce mixture on the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Layer frozen ravioli over the sauce, then add ricotta and mozzarella.
  5. Repeat layers: sauce, ravioli, ricotta, mozzarella. Finish with sauce and Parmesan on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, until ravioli is tender and cheese melted.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Serve warm.
