Ingredients:

  • 500g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 300ml warm water (approximately)
  • Extra flour for dusting

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add the oil and gradually pour in the warm water while kneading until you get a soft, elastic dough.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into round buns or loaves.
  5. Place them on a greased or parchment-lined baking tray. Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  6. Dust the tops with flour and gently score with a knife for decoration.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let the bread cool on a wire rack. Serve and enjoy!
