Ingredients
For the crust
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the orange cream cheese layer
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup orange juice concentrate
- 1 tsp orange zest (optional)
- 1 1/2 tsp powdered gelatin
- 3 tbsp cold water
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped to stiff peaks
For the classic cheesecake layer
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsp powdered gelatin
- 3 tbsp cold water
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped to stiff peaks
For the orange jello layer
- 1 package (3 oz) orange-flavored gelatin mix
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
Instructions
Prepare the Crust
- Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until mixture resembles wet sand.
- Press firmly into bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Refrigerate while preparing layers.
Orange Cream Cheese Layer
- Bloom gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.
- Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, orange juice concentrate, and zest until smooth.
- Melt gelatin gently and fold into cream cheese mixture.
- Fold in whipped cream. Spread over crust. Chill 1–2 hours until set.
Classic Cheesecake Layer
- Bloom gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.
- Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
- Melt gelatin and mix into cream cheese mixture.
- Fold in whipped cream. Spread over orange layer. Chill 2–3 hours until firm.
Orange Jello Layer
- Dissolve gelatin mix in boiling water. Stir in cold water.
- Cool to room temperature, then pour over cheesecake.
- Refrigerate several hours or overnight until fully set.
Serve
- Run a knife around edge before removing springform pan sides.
- Slice with a clean, warm knife for neat portions.
- Garnish with whipped cream and fresh orange slices if desired.
