Ingredients

For the crust

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the orange cream cheese layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cup orange juice concentrate
  • 1 tsp orange zest (optional)
  • 1 1/2 tsp powdered gelatin
  • 3 tbsp cold water
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped to stiff peaks

For the classic cheesecake layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp powdered gelatin
  • 3 tbsp cold water
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped to stiff peaks

For the orange jello layer

  • 1 package (3 oz) orange-flavored gelatin mix
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Instructions

Prepare the Crust

  1. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until mixture resembles wet sand.
  2. Press firmly into bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Refrigerate while preparing layers.

Orange Cream Cheese Layer

  1. Bloom gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.
  2. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, orange juice concentrate, and zest until smooth.
  3. Melt gelatin gently and fold into cream cheese mixture.
  4. Fold in whipped cream. Spread over crust. Chill 1–2 hours until set.

Classic Cheesecake Layer

  1. Bloom gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.
  2. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
  3. Melt gelatin and mix into cream cheese mixture.
  4. Fold in whipped cream. Spread over orange layer. Chill 2–3 hours until firm.

Orange Jello Layer

  1. Dissolve gelatin mix in boiling water. Stir in cold water.
  2. Cool to room temperature, then pour over cheesecake.
  3. Refrigerate several hours or overnight until fully set.

Serve

  1. Run a knife around edge before removing springform pan sides.
  2. Slice with a clean, warm knife for neat portions.
  3. Garnish with whipped cream and fresh orange slices if desired.
