Philly Cheese Steak Crescent Ring 🥩🧀🥖✨
A fun twist on the classic Philly cheese steak—savory beef, peppers, onions, and gooey provolone wrapped in golden crescent dough.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 lb beef steak strips
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup provolone cheese, grated
- 2 boxes crescent roll dough
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook filling: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sauté onion and peppers until softened. Add beef strips, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until beef is browned. Remove from heat and stir in provolone cheese.
- Prepare crescent ring: Arrange crescent roll triangles in a circle on the baking sheet, overlapping edges to form a ring with points facing outward.
- Fill & fold: Spoon beef mixture evenly around the base of the crescent ring. Fold triangle tips over filling and tuck underneath to seal.
- Bake: Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Slice into wedges and enjoy warm.
Tips
- Cheese swap: Try mozzarella or cheddar for a different flavor.
- Extra flavor: Add mushrooms or hot peppers for a bold twist.
- Serving idea: Pair with a side of marinara or ranch dipping sauce.
