Ingredients 🛒
- 300 g fresh spinach
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg (for filling)
- Salt, to taste
- ½ tsp black pepper, freshly ground
- 250 g ricotta cheese
- ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 puff pastry sheet
- 1 egg, beaten with 1 tbsp milk (for egg wash)
- Sesame seeds (optional, for sprinkling)
Method 👩🍳
- Prep spinach: Heat olive oil in skillet. Sauté garlic until fragrant, then add spinach. Cook until wilted. Cool slightly.
- Mix filling: In bowl, combine spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Prepare pastry: Roll puff pastry sheet slightly. Spread filling evenly over pastry.
- Roll & cut: Roll pastry into log. Slice into 2–3 cm pieces.
- Egg wash: Place rolls on baking sheet. Brush tops with egg wash. Sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
- Bake: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Serve: Enjoy warm as appetizers or snacks.
