Ingredients
For the cookies

Instructions
1️⃣ Make the dough
- In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually mix in flour, baking powder, and salt until a dough forms.
2️⃣ Shape the cookies
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll the dough into 1½-inch balls. Flatten each ball slightly, creating an indentation in the center for the filling.
3️⃣ Add the filling
- Spoon about 1 teaspoon of strawberry jam into the center of each cookie.
4️⃣ Bake
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let cool completely.
5️⃣ Decorate with icing
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to create the icing.
- Drizzle over the cooled cookies and top with sprinkles if desired.
