Ingredients

  • 5 egg yolks
  • 1 g salt
  • 50 g sugar
  • 90 g cake flour
  • 2 g chemical yeast
  • 50 g vegetable oil
  • 50 g milk
  • Meringue: 5 egg whites + 70 g sugar

Preparation

  1. Egg yolks: Mix yolks with sugar until light and foamy.
  2. Meringue: Beat egg whites, adding sugar gradually in three parts, until firm peaks form.
  3. Mix the dough: Add sifted flour and chemical yeast to yolk mixture. Mix until incorporated.
  4. Milk and oil: Combine milk and oil with a small portion of batter, then fold into the rest.
  5. Baking: Pour batter into a 39×29×4.5 cm frame. Bake at 170°C for 30 minutes.
  6. Filling and finishing: Spread jam or honey over baked cake, roll tightly, and refrigerate to cool.
