🌮🍝 Taco Pasta – Comfort in a Bowl!

This quick and delicious weeknight dinner combines taco seasoning with pasta for the perfect flavor combo. A hearty dish that’s sure to be a hit!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade seasoning)
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (4 oz) diced green chilies (optional)
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (rotini, penne, or elbow)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until beef is browned and onion softened (6–8 minutes).
  3. Stir in taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and green chilies. Simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  4. Add cooked pasta to skillet and toss until well mixed.
  5. Stir in cheddar cheese and sour cream. Season with salt and pepper. Cook 2–3 minutes until cheese melts and everything is coated.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired.
