Spicy jalapeños stuffed with cheesy meat filling, wrapped in bacon, and baked to perfection!
Ingredients
- 10 large jalapeño peppers
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 10 slices of bacon
- Barbecue sauce (for drizzling)
- Fresh parsley or chives (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare jalapeños: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise, remove seeds and membranes.
- Make filling: Mix cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Cook ground beef/turkey until browned, drain fat, cool slightly, then stir into cheese mixture.
- Stuff jalapeños: Fill each jalapeño half with meat-cheese mixture using spoon or piping bag.
- Wrap with bacon: Cut bacon slices in half. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with bacon, secure with toothpick if needed.
- Bake: Place on parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake 20–25 minutes until bacon is crispy and cheese bubbly.
- Serve: Cool slightly, drizzle with barbecue sauce, garnish with parsley or chives, and enjoy!
